The 26th annual Music City Roundup will be held at the Sheraton Music City in Nashville, TN from Thursday, July 5, 2007 to Sunday, July 8, 2007. There will be many AA meetings and Al-Anon meetings during the event, as well as featured speakers from around the country. Tickets are $20.00 and cover the hospitality room breakfast, lunch, dinner, seven speakers, the Thursday Candlelight Kickoff, dancing, meetings and workshops.
Directions to Sheraton Music City Hotel: I-40 to Exit 215 Briley Parkway N towards Opryland. Right at 1st Exit- Elm Hill Pike, Right at 2nd traffic light at McGavock Pike. Hotel 1/2 mile on the left. Free parking.

The 2006 Area 64 Convention will be held Friday, September 15, 2006 through Sunday, September 17, 2006 at the Hotel Preston, 733 Briley Parkway, Nashville, TN 37217. Room rates are $75.00 per night. Call (877) 361-5500 or (615) 361-5900 to make reservations. This years theme is "We Are Not Saints". The registration fee is $15.00 per person.

The winner for the Logo contest for the 2006 Area 64 Convention is Jean D from Goodletsville, TN. Jean's entry for the theme “We Are NOT Saints” is ---->
The Area 64 2006 Convention will be held September 15-17, 2006 at the Preston Hotel in Nashville, TN. The logo will be featured on the official Convention T-Shirt and in literature related to the convention.

The Nashville AA New Years Eve Dance will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2005. Sponsored by the Middle Tennessee Intergroup, this year's event will be held at the Tennessee Fairgrounds Exhibitors Hall in Nashville, TN. The cost is $5.00 per person, and tickets can be purchased from MTCO, your Intergroup representative or at the door. Come and enjoy the music from the 50's, 60's, 70's and today's music including country as well as rock and roll. There will be a full concession counter for the purchase of sandwiches, snacks and drinks. Several hundred people are expected, and it should be a fun evening for all.

The AA Area 64 4th Quarter Assembly will be held on Oct. 14th thru Oct. 16th, 2005 at the Holiday Inn Select - Opryland/Airport, 2200 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, TN 37214. This year's event is sponsored by AA Districts 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35. The theme is "Service Gladly Rendered".

The AA Traditions Workshop will be held October 8, 2005 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Gallatin Civic Center in Gallatin, TN. Coffee, cold drinks, and finger foods will be supplied by AA District 13, and deserts will be provided by the Portland Group. The theme of the workshop is "Why It Works".

The District 13 AA Annual Area Meeting will be held Sunday, October 2, 2005, at the Wilson County Fairgrounds, Building E in Lebanon, TN.
A potluck meal will begin at 1:00 P.M. with coffee, cold drinks and BBQ with buns being furnished by District 13. Please bring a side dish or dessert if you can.
A speaker meeting will be held at 2:00 P.M. When there is additional information on the speaker, it will be posted here.
Following the meeting, District 13 will hold elections for DCM, Alternate DCM, Secretary and Treasurer for the 2006 and 2007 calendar years. All outgoing, incoming and/or standing GSR's are encouraged to attend.

Lebanon, TN The annual AA Memorial Day Picnic sponsored by the Wilson County Friendship Group will be held, Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Don Fox Park on Baddour Parkway in Lebanon, Tennessee. This year's event will begin at 10:00 A.M. and continue until approximately 4:00 P.M. The Friendship Group will furnish coffee, drinks, hotdogs and hamburgers. Please bring a covered dish if you can. If you can't, please bring yourself.

The Tennessee Alcoholics Anonymous Area 64 Public Information Committee will present a public information workshop on Saturday, November 6, 2004, beginning at 1:00 P.M. The event will be held at the Woodbine Last Stop Club, 2122 Utpia Avenue in Nashville, Tennessee. The roundtable forum discussion concerns carrying the AA message both inside and outside of Alcoholics Anonymous. Please bring a dish and a friend!

The 9th Annual National Archives Workshop, presented by Area 64 Archives, will be held September 23 thru September 26, 2004 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The featured guests will include Bob W., Conservator, Little Rock, AR; Judit S., GSO Archivist; Gail L., Akron Archivist; and Meeting Voice: Fish of Blytheville, AR. This years theme is "The Magnificent Reality".

The 27th Annual Celebration of Sobriety Dinner, sponsored by the Middle Tennessee Intergroup, will be held Saturday, October 16, 2004 at the Woodmont Hills Family of God Church, 3710 Franklin Pike in Nashville, Tennessee. The reception begins at 5:00 P.M., and food should be on site by 5:30 P.M. The potluck dinner will be served at 6:00 P.M., and the evening's festivities will begin at 7:30 P.M.
Speakers, Michael and Dyann W. will take us on a musical journey through the 12 steps of recovery. Tickets are $7.00 each. For reservations and tickets, see your intergroup representative or call the Central Office at (615) 831-1050. No Children Please.

District 13 AA will hold an area meeting Sunday, September 19, 2004 at the Ward Agricultural Center, 945 Baddour Parkway in Lebanon, Tennessee.
This year's event, sponsored by the Wilson County Friendship Group, will feature a luncheon with barbecue, coffee and cold drinks furnished by the Friendship Group. Eating begins at 1:00 P.M. Please bring a covered dish if you can.
The speaker's meeting will begin at 2:00 P.M. This year's speakers are Bill J. and Mike G. from Murfreesboro AA. Other events include a sobriety countdown and door prizes consisting of various AA literatures. A District 13 monthly meeting will be held at 4:00 P.M. after the festivities have concluded.

The Tennessee Area 64 State Convention will be held Friday, September 17, 2004 through Sunday, September 19, 2004 at the Paris Landing Inn and Resort, 404 Lodge Road near Paris, TN. The 30th annual Memphis Bluff City Fellowship will be held October 14th thru October 17 at the Memphis Hilton, 939 Ridge Lake Blvd, Memphis, Tennessee. Call (800) 371-8065 for hotel reservations. Rooms will be available at $89.00 until September 14, 2004.
This year's event will feature eight AA speakers including Arbutis O. of Brownville, TX who has 56 years in the program. Wow! The 23rd annual Music City Roundup will be held at the Sheraton Music City in Nashville, TN from Thursday, July 1st, 2004 to Sunday, July 4th, 2004. The Roundup is an event related to recovery in Alcoholics Anonymous and will feature AA, Al-Anon and Alateen meetings throughout the July 4th holiday weekend. There will be five featured AA speakers and two Al-Anon speakers from around the country who will share their experience, strength and hope with all. Information about the program, the speakers, the daily agenda and hotel reservation information can be found on the Music City Roundup website.
